![]() | Remington nylon 66 I have a Remington nylon 66 Black Apache that I bought from a neighbor about 15+ years ago. It's in great shape aside from a small scratch on the side of the reciever. I was wondering if anyone could give me a rough idea what the value is now days. If I remember correctly I paid $85 for it. Any info wil be appreciated. Thanks

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Yeah, I have seen them bring as low as $75 recently to as high as $400 with original box and un-fired condition, a good average for a gun in good shape is about $150-175.

![]() | nylon not to be a bug in the soup however gents I beg to differ at the 250-350 range your talking about a mohawk brown nylon normally a apache black which is the chrome i have seen from 400-550 and the seneca green version I have seen for close to 600. The values have gone up substantially in the past couple years. However that said if someone wants to give one up for 200-250 let me know I have 250 burning a hole |

![]() | It's not for sale at this time unless someone makes me an offer I can't refuse. Say in that 400-550 range. Other than that I'll keep it in the gun cabinet for now. Thanks for the input guys.

![]() ![]() | I wish I could get an advance copy of Guns and Ammo, because everytime they do an article about some gun, the prices shoot through the roof. Granted, the Nylon 66 is a great gun, but people into guns knew that a LONG time ago. Now the G A did a write up about it, they're all of a sudden the HOT item. Maybe next they'll do an article about how great the Ruger 10/22 is, and I would be able to touch one for under $600. (Stepping off soap box)

![]() | I have been collecting Nylons for years and really the price was on the rise long before the article. I believe after the article alot more people remebered them and decided they wanted one again. Don't get me wrong the price has really spiked in the past couple years, but were on the rise since early years of 2000. I think one other reason of the price, is they are fun to collect. So many different variations, some with over 1 million produced and others in the 100's. |
