| Expert | What uppers should I stock? I want to buy several RRA uppers to keep in stock with my lowers and am not sure what are the most popular styles with the average AR-15 guy. I was thinking a Entry Tactical with a standard configuration, a Mid-Length A4 in a standard configuration and maybe a Varmint A4. All would include the bolt carrier group and charging handle assembly. Open for any suggestions as I don't want to buy something and have it sit forever. I already have two guns on order for some time, both Mid-Length A4's, one with the standard stock and the other with the 6-position tactical. I ordered an Elite Comp for myself. What is everyones opinion on buying at least one in green? What about A2 vs A4? I hear most people would rather have a gun without a carry handle. Thanks in advance for the feedback, ![]()

However since your buying for resale I'd have to say go with M4gery uppers, they seem to be the most popular. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I have 4 RRA uppers ordered. Two of them are the midlength (16 inch) A2's and the other two are standard (20 inch) A2's. I like the A2 config because its ready to go with the sights. I'm cheap and dont want to spend a lot of money on red dots or scopes so I'll just use the A2 that already has the sights on them. I do have one Entry Tactical that has a red dot and tac light on it that I bought a couple of years ago. |

A midlength with a mid to lightweight barrel is perfect IMO. Maybe pick up a couple flip rear BUIS to give customers some options. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | In the group buys I arranged, most of the demand was for flat top, 16" uppers with M4 feed ramps. That has been strong demand for free float barrels, something I've got personally on all my 6.5 Grendels, but have not been able to get in the group buys for any caliber. There seems to be a good deal of INGO demand for 7.62x39 uppers. Very little demand for the 6.8 SPC uppers here on INGO. Just my suggestion, but buy as many as you can afford. In the case of the 2 group buys I did I sold every upper and had plenty of disappointed people who could not get one either because I ran out or because I could not get the configuration they wanted. In both cases I sold off stuff here to people who wanted them, then sold the rest (usually just a couple) on Gunbroker (and made a tidy profit on the gunbroker sales). So if you have any unsold uppers, list them on one of the auction sites and they will sell. I'm in the process of trying to get another 20. I'm not listing another group buy until I know if I can get them. But I need a couple more for myself so I'm trying to get a bunch of them, I'll pick and choose the configurations I want for me, then offer the rest here. I'm not worried about selling them, there is plenty of demand. |
