Range report: RRA mid 16" Vortex strikefire and 3 cheap brands of ammo

Got to the range this weekend to test out an AR with some of the cheaper brands of ammo.

The AR is a RRA 16" mid length chrome lined 1/9 twist with NM trigger factory built rifle. It has functioned flawlessly over 500 rds of mixed ammo (LC m193, privi, wolf, brown bear, UMC) I have a Vortex strikefire red dot mounted with the doubler attached for the report. Here is the rifle at the range:



I shot 3 types of ammo at 50yds:
Brown Bear 62 gr SP
Remington UMC 55gr FMJ
Wolf 55 gr FMJ

It was a pretty calm day about 70 deg. I shot about 10 rds of each type of ammo. I think I was doing my part pretty well. The red dot probably isn't the best choice for shooting groups but this rifle is setup as more of a plinker \ defensive type AR.

Brown Bear 62 gr SP = 6.25 MOA
Remington UMC 55gr FMJ = 3 MOA
Wolf 55 gr FMJ = 4.25 MOA
Wolf 55 gr FMJ (100 yd) = 4.25 MOA
