AR-15 And M-16 Show And Tell

I guess it's time for me to show a "few" pics....

Top
Colt RO979 Upper assembly w/Colt FA BCG. I did my pin and weld on the phantom FS. Of course the Aimpoint M68/CCO (Comp M2), a Troy MRF DI with a TLR1 for the light, cut down VFG. I cut the Colt carry handle down for my BUIS. LMT stock assembly attached to a CMMG lower, Lone Star storage grip. Pretty simple and nothing fancy, but she runs and has earned my trust. When I dance with the devil.... she's my date.

Bottom
Upper I built:
CMT flattop t-marked, BM M4 Barrel, I pinned & welded the Phantom. Colt M16 BCG, YHM Rails, Cut down VFG, TLR1, Colt carry handle, Colt M4 sling mount on barrel.
CMMG Lower, LMT stock assembly, command arms stock thingy. SAW grip (of which I don't like).
Pretty much identical to the top which helps transition to a secondary rifle.
Also has earned my trust and ready for action.

Here is mine so far, I am saving my Beans right now for a Young Manu. N/M BCG. My cousin got me a C/H for Christmas, but accidently got one for a .308 so I'm thinking about going with the expensive PRI one for $90 since he's got me half way there.

Don't mind the Pelican full of panels and parts...

The DD lite 9.0 and RIS II are sweet rails. I couldn't recommend them enough.

The ACOG doesn't really belong on this upper. It's for the 14.5" above it.

Here's a pic of the TA33R-8 and what it would look like if you were to keep both eyes open and look at your target unmagnified (using BAC). When you stop moving, your dominant eye automatically takes over and you get the magnified image. Pretty nice. Just an FYI for those of you who didn't know or think ACOGs are a bit too much...



And no, you don't see the front sight when looking through it magnified.
