AR-15 And M-16 Show And Tell

I have three im working on so far with the bells and whistles!

1) Colt M16A1 .... haven't changed anything on it.



2) Bushmaster Carbon 15 M4 ... this baby shoots like my Colts and I recently added an Eotech holo sight to her.


3) Colt Model 6601 with Colt M4 upper ... just added a Daniel Defense Rail to it.


Still have some work to go with the upgrades .... have to save some $$$ first!

I only have 2 rifles but I am really proud of my Armalite AR-10 that I built myself. It was the first time I have ever attempted building an AR and had no idea it would be as easy as it was. I started doing NRA matches this year and it has been a challenge learning to shoot with BUIS flip up sights. My other rifle is a Smith & Wesson AR-15 that I use my SAS can on as well as my AR-10.

Finished my 2nd yesterday.

I started with early symptons of EBR disease in early November like so many folks. Its was a manifestation of SKS and Mosin-itis.

Anyhow, I completed my first in January, which was a S&W M&P15 lower with a Delton 16" Middy HBAR complete uppper.

A few months later, I found a deal on a S&W M&P15 upper, so decided to get it and put it on my M&P lower.

That left me with the Delton Upper. I just couldn't bear to leave it in the safe without its own lower. So, I bought pieces to complete another lower a bit at a time. Yesterday I picked up a stripped YHM lower to finish it off.

So, now there are two EBR's in my collection. A complete S&W M&P15, and a YHM/Delton combination rifle.



Did I mention I have a lower on the way as part of Karlsgunbunker's group buy? I wonder what I'll build with that one.

My first AR (DoulbeStar lower and everything else from Model1Sales). It's 97% done (missing the takedown pin detent). I have another lower, so sure there is at least one more in my furute.

Smith and Wesson M&P 15 MOE

Went to PSS with intentions of looking at AR15s. Walked out with this beauty. My plan was to buy an AR15 and load it with Magpul accessories and I lucked out and caught this S&W M&P 15 MOE already outfitted with everything I want.

And at an awesome price too. Bob @ PSS was running a 5% off "assault rifles" deal this weekend. Not a lot but every bit helps. Now to get some ammo and more PMAGS...
