This is all I have done so far. Heavy modding has to be done for the rest to fit. Still working on it.

There's a good thread about taking the reciever cover mount you have, and lowering it so that you get a decent cheek weld and proper eye releif for scopes like what you have.

Who says you can't put the UTG tri-rail on a sporter??? I also installed a muzzle brake.

By adding a pistol grip instead of the thumb hole , are you getting into 922 R territory ?

he's well into that territory, but it looks almost legal if the swaps one more part i believe, he has what looks to be the mag body, mag follower, floor plate, butt stock, pistol grip, if he swaps something like the hand guard out he's there. imo

Yes. Every gun is different. They all have a different # of parts from the list of 20. AK's need 6 parts to make them compliant, and SKS's normally need 4. My model needs 5. I am compliant already.

Just remember, its not what you add to the rifle, it is what you replace with made in the USA parts that helps you maintain compliance. 922r doesn't dictate how many US parts you must have. It does regulate the number of foreign parts that can be assembled into a rifle if it is taken ouy of its original imported condition. Once you are at the limit of foriegn parts, the rest must be US made.
