![]() | Russian SKS Just aquired my SKS back that I had given my Dad several years ago. He never even put a round down it!. When I had it first, I put a scope mounted dust cover on it and I think I am going to put the original cover back on. Anyway, the action is a little loose in the stock. There is a little play back and forth if you push forward on the receiver. In your opinion should I look for an aftermarket stock or just fix the original? The stock is in decent shape with the usual knicks and dings. Can the original wood stocks be refinished? Or should I keep it as is? Just looking for some different opinions.....Glad to have her back though!!!! ![]() |
