Send it back since it bothers you so much.

I once purchased a Yugo underfolder that had the folder crooked. Unlike yours, the receiver was straight, but the folder was bent. Didn't take much with a hammer and vise to straighten it out, but in your case if the trunion is crooked, or poorly riveted, there is no excuse. Send it back.

Ahhhhh, just put it in a vise and use a breaker bar, she'll straight'n out!!!! I have a big vise if you need one!

(I would also sent it back though)

i would find something that looks a little higher quality than that. ditch it!

It looks like the receiver says Allied Armament on it. I would send it back and get a refund. I have never dealt with them personally but everything I have read on the 1919 site doesn't speak too positively about them.
