![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | They are usually considered the best made of the SKS rifles. They are generally worth more (and sell for more) than any produced by other countries. Inspect it well, but most samples are well above the Chinese, Romanian, etc. |

![]() ![]() | Im no SKS expert by any means but I dont think its possible to have one from WWII. Wasnt production started in the mid 50's? I guess I could have looked that info up myself but what fun would that be. Besides, im sure someone around here knows the answer anyway. ![]() |

![]() | Yeah Its almost 100% guaranteed to be post war and if it wasnt it be worth a fortune. Most are dated on the reciever cover, 1949 to 1955. If there is not date but it has a large star on the reciever at the part near the bolt its post 55. Most are in the $300 to $400 range, closer to $400 these days. The 1949 dates bring much more. |
