Kel-Tec Sub 2000 Mod

Just got done moding out my 9mm Glock 19 Subbie a few days ago and thought I'd post it here to show it off a little

The Lake Co. gun show this past weekend helped with some final parts I needed to (pretty much) complete it . Only thing I need now is the Kel-Tec sling and the Tacticool Products operating handle cover and she'll be 100% finished (hopefully! )

Before:

And after:

Parts used:
+ 6 universal quad rails - $10 ea.
+ 15 UTG rail covers (some cut to size) - $15
+ 3/4" riser - $25
+ 4 3/4" barrel shroud (originally made for Hi-Point 995 carbine) - $50
+ Sightron S33 4-Recticle red dot - $200
+ Itac Defense laser/light combo. - $189

Kinda funny cause I bought the 6 quad rails and mounted them and then went on the Kel-Tec Owners Group forum and found out they just came out with a quad rail for the Sub . Oh well, my set-up still works well.. it's basically the same thing, except not all one piece.

Hope to get to the range soon to get it sighted in (but I need ammo first in order to do that!). May post a range report afterwards?

Anyways, any input would be appreciated.
Thanks for looking!

That looks really good. Let me know if you find a way to extend the stock. That's the one downside I have with mine.

Is there some sort of pad for the cold steel tube to get a cheek weld on? Kind of reminds me of getting knocked up side the face with a pipe when you shoot it. I like the mods but do they prevent you from folding the gun back?

Yes, as already answered, it's a bolt tube cover from Tacticool Products for a more comfortable cheek weld. And na, it's not like that. Even without the cover.. What little recoil it has goes straight back into your shoulder, so the side of your face is all good
No, I can't fold it up anymore unless I take my riser with my red dot off.. but then I'm left with no iron sights; only a laser

But! I am looking into getting a flip-up front sight for it now. As for my rear, I still have the aperture. If you look close in the moded pic, you can see it folded forward, touching the riser. Thank God I didn't hack that off, like I was considering..

It'll look something similar to this:

Except with a nicer flip-up

Yeah, it's heavier on the front end.. I'm trying to find a way to balance the weight evenly. If I can't, oh well, I guess.. it doesn't bother me too much.
