How do you like the Falcon Menace? I am looking hard at this scope and really like the Front Focal Plane design but I was just wondering about durablity.

OK Ive figured out the stock Im putting on my Remmy now for the scope. I went out yote hunting with my AR. Its toped with a SWAT Acu shot scope with the BDC. Sitting out in the middle of a bean field I wanted to see how the BDC worked . Sighted in at 100yrds I picked a spot on a tree 200yrds away and put the second dot on it and let it rip. 3 out of the five shots hit within 3in of the mark. Which brought up the question ":is there a BDC scope for the 243?" Funds are tight and they are gonna get even tighter cause I want this scope for my 243! I cant wait to get this puppy done!

Im getting ready to order a adjustable cheek rest but I read somewhere that if your cheek doesnt hit the same spot everytime you will shoot inconsistantly. How did the cheek rest help you out or did you buy it for looks?

by adding a differant recoil pad yes... otherwise no, that stock is not adjustable for LOP

Im looking at either Choate or Bell& Carson for a stock . Got a question though . Once I make my choice of a stock will I still need to get it glass bedded and whats pillar bedded?

You do not need to glass bed the rifle. It may make it more accurate though. Pillar bedding is drilling the action screw holes in the stock larger than the factory holes and putting metal inserts into the larger holes. This will make the action contact the pillars instead of the stock. I'm sure I'm not explaining it very well. It is easier to understand than explain.

I have an R700 SPS Tac that sits in a B&C stock topped by a Super Sniper 10X, fed with my own ammo and weighed down with a homemade Form 1 suppressor. Hopefully when I get the suppressor completely finished (it isn't coated yet, just bare SS) I'll get around to uploading some pics and I'll include some of the rifle too.

I would think with better ammo it should shoot better. Also remember to try many different bullet weights to get a feel for what rifle likes best.
