As for training, you really should come to an Appleseed, you would love it! It is training for the long shot with emphasis on sling use. The Wabash shoot is in less than two weeks, and there will be more this year. If you need to borrow a rifle, the people putting on the shoot can scrounge up something. I plan to be at Wabash and could bring my STG-2000 if you want to see it. Heck, if you bring ammo, you are welcome to shoot it at the event.

Appleseed huh? Sounds like fun. Can you show up to watch or do you have to pay to do that too? Either way sounds great! I'd like to shoot one for sure and I think I can get some ammo! LOL Appreciate the heads up. How do you like your STG? Any problems/concerns with it? BTW, where can I find info on this event?

Appleseed Project There are links in there. As for watching, there is no function for that to my knowledge since the learning with them is in the doing. If money is an issue, I am sure I could get someone to sponsor you for a day of shooting (a Saturday since that is the day that is important of the two). If you think you can make it to the Saturday of the event (do not know where you live, it is 3 hours away for me - might be closer for you), let me know that you are serious and I will "make it happen" for Saturday. Only one person to my knowledge has qualified using an Ak variant (I was there) but it can be done. Let me know and I could get the STG's scope at least zero'ed in at least to hit the paper. Uh, Oh, Now I am getting off track...

![]() | I just recently bought the STG-2003, which is the 5.56 model and I like it a lot. It's no m-4 but it'll do the job just fine. I am looking for a bolt action for hunting but as far as an AR, I think its great. Recoil is hardly there and it shoots quite accurately. Groupings are nice and tight and with the smaller round and low recoil it is very easy to make continuous shots in a small area accurately. It did however jam on me today more than once which was frustrating and I'm trying to get to the bottom of it but haven't figured out the issue. Anyone else have this problem in the 5.56 model? |
