| BOFH ![]() | Can't Resist........ nice sock in picture #1 ![]() I'd imagine there are some markings on it somewhere that can be decoded. on HK's it's a two letter code. For example guns with AG would be 06 (2006) AA would be 00 or 2000 You might google ithica owners group if nobody here knows the answer for your specific question.

![]() | Great Guns The 37 is a fine shotgun used by the Illinois State Police for years as well as many other police depts I liked the fact it is a bottom ejecting shotgun so it can be used by RH or LH shooters with ease I had one Years back it was an Ill St Police trade in that was stamped ILL St PO and in a moment of stupidity I sold it to a friend of mine who in return traded it at a Gun show One of many guns that I Wish I had back enjoy it with care it will last years |

![]() | I have my fathers M37 that he purchased when he returned from Korea, I have it listed in my inventory book but I believe it was from 1953. They are a sweet shooter, especially the older ones. I couldnt believe the difference in felt recoil as compared to my 870s. Shooting the same loads the Ithica is much milder. No big deal or concern, just a testiment to the product.
