.22 Hi-Cap mags

So i got a buddy who has a .22 AK he just bought, and his mags are only 10-rounders. Of the .22's i have (One pistol, and two rifles, plus one parts rifle that i really need to get back to assembling), the mags are only 7-10 rounds each.

I'm currently looking into getting a .22 conversion kit for my AR but i really don't want to just have 10 or 20 round mags.

My question is thus: Do they make like 100-rd drum mags for .22 LR or something similar that feeds into AR or AK-style rifles? If i get a conversion kit, i'll be wanting to waste as MUCH of my .22 as i can.
My late father had an old, old .22 rifle that was fed by a 50-rd drum, but i haven't seen anything like it since, and unfortunately that gun was stolen.

There are drum mags for the 10-22 but I haven't heard the greatest things about them. Typically the 20 - 30 rnd mags feed the best.

AR Conversion kits do have mags that hold 20+ rounds. I think CMMG and Black Dog make mags that hold 26 or 27 rnds
