 | Bolt actions tend to be very stong platforms with a lot of caliber options. Another advatage of the bolt action is that the action can be cycled from the prone position. Very nice feature for a military, hunting rifle, or precision target rifle. In contrast lever actions are fast. It is hard to beat a light handy lever action carbine.
