magnum sabots

okay finally took out my mossberg 500 slug gun and it shot pretty nice...shot about 20 rounds through it with different kinds of sabot slugs and the holes were about a half an inch wide...got down to my last box and they were hastings i think anyways shot one and it was about 4 inches low but still hit paper. But i couldn't believe my eyes the whole was about 1 1/2 times bigger... looked at the box and saw they were magnums. my question is can i shoot these all the time??? and if so should i stick with these and get it sighted in for these???

magnum slugs typically are not as consistent (accuracy wise). yea they have a little more power and you can use them if you want
