 | Ithaca 12 gauge? I can't seem to find much information about Ithaca anywhere :/ My girlfriends dad just inherited one and I'm interested to know more about Ithaca and their reputation. I have a feeling I could acquire this gun from him some time in the future since he really only cares about his Colt and his M1  |

   | Ithaca has kind of a cult following; they used to be MUCH more popular than they are now.

| Before the 870 took over as the flavor of the day, the Ithaca Model 37 was THE shotgun to have. Gorgeous and lightweight. Excellent field guns for both fowl and deer. Ithaca still exists, all be it as a wholly different company than "original", but I believe that they will refinish old shotguns back to "original"...for a price. -J-

| My cousin "had" an Ithaca featherweight 20 ga. that his dad got him back in the early 80's. NICE gun with a field scene engraved on the receiver. Dumb*** pawned it last summer for $50.00

| I have two M66 SuperSingles in 12 and 20. Shot a deer with my 20 about 3 years ago and it is a very light gun, the recoil is phenomenal for a 20. Haven't shot the 12 though because of my Mossy 500.

| haha fortunately this one is in pristine condition I'm not sure of the age but it's definitely nothing like the new ones it has gorgeous engraving on the receiver and a beautiful walnut stock. I'll try and get pictures next time I'm over there and maybe see if I can strike a deal with him =D |

 | Ithaca Model 37 with a pistol grip used to be known as the 'Stakeout'. They have some cool pumps, they eject out of the bottom. I'm always keeping my eye out for a deal on one. Nice shotguns. a little information -> Modern Firearms - Shotgun Ithaca 37
