![]() | Ruger 10/22 Target Tactical? Ruger has recently released a new version of their 10/22 rifle called the Target Tactical (VLEH) ![]() It's pretty much the same as the 10/22T model (but with Hogue stock and bi-pod) and has the same precision-rifled, cold hammer-forged, spiral-finished barrel...but the barrel is shortened to 16-1/8". I've seen these sell for between $410 and $430 on broker.com recently. I went to 5 gun stores here in south-central Indiana today and couldn't find any for sale. Has anyone seen these for sale anywhere yet? Someone on AR15.com has informed me that "Zanders" (G1230) has 73 of them in stock, but I'de rather find one in person and buy it like that or try to get it through Gallery of Guns. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I haven't seen one, but the picture you posted and pics I found on the web look sweet. Seems a little expensive to me, but if it fits what you want nearly out of the box, it's probably worth it. By the time most people buy aftermarket items for theirs, if they were honest, they'd probably have $400 into a base 10/22 anyway. Post some information, please if you buy one...

Actually, a well placed .22 LR is pretty good making things cease to function. You have to know what you're doing and be closer than a centerfire allows. Have that barrel threaded 1/2-28, slip a can on it and an ant's fart would be louder.
