Question RPK or an AK

Hey all...

Let's take a few things out of the equation first... $$ they're both going to be with in say $40-50 of each other, so that's a wash. Mags? No problem there; there's a few drums around here that will fit it nicely, just like an AK.

I've already got a few AK's which I've built.

If you had to chose one for purchase, what would you choose? RPK or an AK?

Do you own an RPK? Would you buy it again knowing what you now know?

RPK

I had one for a couple years, loved it then decided to go towards an AR platform.

Would get another one, if the right model/brand came along.

It's an extended heavy barrel AKM, a Euro version of the SAW (Squad Automatic Weapon)M249.

I've really been leaning towards one, however I'm always nervous when it comes to a new or different platform.

JcJ - Modern Firearms - Kalashnikov RPK light machine gun It's a purty little thang.
