![]() | SKS question or two... Hey folks, I've a few questions. First of all, how easy is it to convert an SKS back to the standard box magazine after it's been converted to utilize 30 rounders? Secondly, is $200 a good price for one in bettern' average shape? Garcias. -J-

![]() | I have never tried to use the 30 rounders, but i remember it sounding like it was easy. But $200 dollars isn't bad any more for a very good condition SKS. What country is it from? The Russian and Chinese/polytech are generally considered the best of the bunch. The Romanian and Albanian are very good also. Plus you don't see as many of those. The Yugos are good shooters and of the latest batch of SKS's released. The rearsenaled/like new ones are $200+ nowadays. Hope this helps |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Its not hard at all to change it back to the standard box magizine. $200 is a decent buy if it is in good shape. Its been awhile since I bought any SKS but the last time I did, I bought a chinese for $99. I wont even say how much I bought my original Russian SKS for. ![]() |

![]() | Found out that it's a Chinese variant... And he's REALLY interested in getting rid of it because he never shoots it. He told me cheap...$150-175-ish. That'd almost certainly include whatever ammo he has with it... But, thing is, the $200 I'm getting back from my apartment security deposit would do a lot better for wife and I if we put it towards a CC bill that she has. *sigh* So now it's a want of mine up against a need of ours. Selfish Indy doesn't like where this is going... -J-
