![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | This is a good opportunity to start your "spare" parts collection. Shipping will cost more than the "firing pin retaining pin" does by itself, now is the time to make a list of common wear items and buy 2 or 3 of each, trust me. |

![]() ![]() | I know this sounds stupid, but what are the "common wear" items?

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Caleb, that is not a stupid question, in fact it is a very good one. I suggest these items. 1) A complete spare LPK, well worth the $65-$70, IMHO. 2) A complete spare BCG, again well worth $130-$140. 3) 2-sets of bolt gas rings. 4) 2-extractors with correct spring insert along with a few Crane o'rings. 5) 2-spare firing pins 6) 2-spare buffer springs Those are what come to my mind quickly. Yes, I also realize that I just suggested buying about $400 in spare parts for your AR. Remember you don't need them all right now, but you really do need to have them around eventually. I suggest splitting up the parts order with just the single component you need now and just add a complete LPK to the order to get you started. |

![]() | Sorry, but a common cotter key from the hardware store won't work in your AR. I take it you lost yours? I will be shooting at the Indiana State Highpower Championships at Camp Atterbury tomorrow then again for longrange the 13th and 14th. Tim from KT Accuracy will be going with me and we could bring one for you. PM me if interested and I'll PM back with my cell number. |
