Hello. I am looking for a correct set (M1 Carb) for a saginaw make. I've got an 'original' that is supposed to fit 'a' rifle, but not mine. It's got a stamp near the buttplate; but, other than that I don't know what it is.

curraheegun...I am a total nubie but just bought a 1943 m1 garand and have been researching it like crazy. I saw several of your posts demonstrating a rather extensive knowlege on them. I am looking for someone to inspect it and basically tell me if it is safe(muzle and bore guaged, head space ect.) Is there a gunsmith you recomend? Any direction would be appreciated. I'm located in the corner of carmel, westfield and Zionsville
