If you can't bring it by the shop give me a call at the shop one of the days I mentioned 856-8880. After rereading your post the firing pin could be peened or the spring is failing but I would really like to get a look at first before I give definate answers as to what I think it might be. I have a few Ruger Mk handguns and have been known to assemble a few here and there.

I believe so. What town? I've been to Ft. Wayne, Batesville, plus a few other towns. Was this the one that John Viray was in? That is the one that is jumping out @ me in my mind. I am 43, 5'10", brown hair, a Reserve Speedway Police Officer.

Just to verify that I am not hounding the wrong guy, are you the utah non-resident CCW trainer that held a class in a Holiday inn last year?
If so then my wife and i took your class together. I have been looking around at posts to find one from you since then and ask for a friendship request.
