Classifieds Rule #2 states that all ads must have a location. Yours did not, so he issued an infraction. Standard policy would've been to simply remove the ad, as we don't have the time to send reminder PMs. If I had seen it, or if any other Mod had seen it, it probably would've been removed.

Remember that infractions simply serve as a standardized vehicle to remind folks of the rules set in place. They serve the same purpose as a PM, but allow all Mods to view and track them, so as to avoid duplication of our efforts.

As an Indiana-based gun bored, your location of "Indiana" is assumed. We certainly understand that folks have a right to privacy, which is why we don't require that you post your full address and telephone number on the ad. However, making it slightly more specific helps prospective buyers quickly discern if you're close to them or not.
