WTS/WTT Sony 8'' Portable DVD Player

Okay, here's the story on this guy..

I got it at a sale with the intention of my wife using it to entertain herself while she quilts. I talked to a lot of her quilting friends and they all said they enjoy theirs, so I figured it would be fantastic. The shop guy gave me a decent discount because it was the player and battery only, with no charger, and I knew that I had one at home that would work.

So, she opens it on Christmas morning, and I see that look. You know the look I'm talking about, the "Ohh, something horribly expensive that I'm not going to use.." look. Seems that she likes to listen to web radio while she works, leaving her eyes to watch her sewing and soforth..

So here we go!

This is a DVP-FX810. If you get this unit, it will come with the DVD player, battery that seems to work rather well, and an AC charger. Sony had to go and be kinda weird, requiring a 9v, 2.5 Amp unit to actually run the unit, so the AC Charger that I have is more along the lines of charging the battery. These run for about 5 or 6 hours on the battery, though, which doesn't do too bad. It's got a swiveling screen for multiple viewing options.

My price is $100. I'd be willing to ship if you're willing to cover that, or we can work face-to-face in Delphi (or West Lafayette) area.

I'd be willing to trade for a rifle of some sort - no semi-automatics unless it's a Ruger 10/22, please - or a shotgun. I'm currently without a nice .22 rifle, for example, and I'd love to have one again.

I would also discuss handguns, if you had something you'd be interested in trading outright.

My other interests would be ammo - .22LR, .380, .45, 9mm, 7.62x39.

I'm also still looking for the wire standalone shelves that are about 6 feet high, if you've got something like that. Heck, if you've got a trade offer, shoot me a PM - I'll ponder anything, and the worst I can do is say no thanks..
