IN the market for a new Savage .22 WMR bolt action. They had it listed for 30 bucks more than a competitor site that I had no prior history with. I called Sportsmansguide and asked if they price matched. They checked and said that the price on the other site was actually under their cost but they would still honor the price to keep me as a customer.

Shipping to FFL was only 4.99 cents and it was their in 2 days.

Never asked about price matching.

Lucky you. They just bombard me with catalogs, and when I order, they make no mention of backorders until the order update the next day when they say the estimated ship date is 3 months out. SMH.

The only positive experience in that was how easy it was to cancel that item.
