| Hoosier Daddy! ![]() | -1 Midway USA Well, Im not in a very good mood with Midway right now, in fact Im rather pissed. I ordered 4 Ruger 10/22 10 round magazines on 02/05/2009. 2 of them were back ordered, and 2 were in stock. So I placed the order. Shipping was HIGH 10 magazines, let alone 4, so I figured that was due to the back order. Then that night, I get 2 notices that they have shipped my order, and my back order. WTF? I checked my online banking today and saw two charges from Midway to my account. I called to ask why I had two charges on my account for 1 order. I was told that it was because they dont bill for unshipped items, ok, fair enough, but why are they almost the same amount? Oh, they double charge for shipping. WTF? How can they be back ordered if they are shipped the same DAY? and then to double charge on shipping? Just ship when the order is complete!!!!!!!!!!! anyway, my "good" deal on 10/22 mags became a $h!t deal. No more of that crap for me. ![]() ![]()

The last one, however, left me thinking they didn't value my continued presence in their establishment as much as I had hoped. But I haven't had any financial incongruities like that. My guess is that they will get it all worked out for you.

| Hoosier Daddy! ![]() | This isn't my first order with Midway. I think Ive used them 2 or 3 times with no issues then. I did call customer service which is how I found out about the charge. I told them when I ordered online there was no mention of an extra charge, and no option was given to not order the back ordered items. Basically here is your order, we have 2 in stock, and 2 back ordered. Thanks. I told the woman on the other end I wasn't happy, but thats about as much as I got. She did seem to be genuinely sorry, and said they had some computer problems, but no mention of any help with the situation. Would I say 'dont use Midway'......... not necessarily, but I would say DO NOT BACKORDER or partiallly back order anything from them. I guess the part that pisses me off the most is I ordered stuff that was back ordered, but it all shipped the same day for 2x the money, and thats not cool.

Doesn't seem right, I think that I'd try and speak with a CS supervisor. The only other time that I had a BO, different company, they shipped a partial order but charged me full shipping for a complete order. I wasn't happy but they did ship the remaining items at a later date w/o additional charge.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I've ordered from from MidwayUSA for years and I've had a backorder situation, they shipped the stuff in stock and then shipped the backordered items and charged for that, I expected it as that's how most businesses operate, so it wasn't a big deal. I can see how you have a problem with it since you had such a small order. Caveat Emptor applies not matter who you deal with, even family & friends (maybe that should be especially?). |

| Hoosier Daddy! ![]() | They are coming in separate packages. When I placed the order I check which shipping was going to be cheapest, and amazingly UPS was the cheapest of the two. So, when they shipped the "in stock" mags, they came UPS. The "back ordered" mags that shipped the same day went out USPS.
