![]() ![]() ![]() | gun broker .com i dont mean to step on anybodys toes on this website because it is a very good place to make friends and buy and sell stuff, and just learn.but gun broker.com is for the most part over priced and what you get for your money isnt worth it.not saying you you have to look there or even buy there, but i have noticed a lot of guns on here lately that have been priced from there.i dont have a problem with trying to make a buck but when you are out to just stick it to other ingo members thats just .just my ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I can solve that. If it's over priced......don't buy it. That tends to be my rule of thumb. Just my two cents.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Gunbroker is a great place to find out what firearms are really selling for. There are many sellers that I am sure set a high reserve just to see how high people bid. This gives them a true sense as to what their firearm is worth. Checking auctions to see at what price people place bids gives you as a buyer a great idea what you can expect to pay for a firearm these days. As for sellers, the bids made on Gunbroker give you an idea the true market value of your firearm, so you know what to sell it for. As to prices being too high, as said above, just don't buy, but unfortunately in the current political climate, prices of firearms, ammo and supplies are getting crazy high, and people are still paying those prices. Go with your heart. |

+1 if the prices were to high they wouldn't sell any guns remember our system is set up to where something is worth what someone will pay. i think gunbroker is a great place to see what your gun is worth. gunbroker is alot cheaper than gunsamerica or auction arms. imo | |

| Master ![]() | Hopefully my local dealers don't take your advice because I know they are selling ARs for less than they go on GB.com.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I can see both sides of this. As a collector, if I find a rare old Winchester, Ballard, or Parker, I can pay to get the gun. It's not always about the "deal", and that is why the auctions work so well. But for new and used hunting firearms, I buy private party 4 or 5 times as much as Gunbroker, Guns internatioanl, or the other big sites, because private deals are usually better "deals", with less hassle, and no fees at either end. Just my view. |

Unfortunately, we get a lot of people who come here and treat us like a sort of low-rent Gunbroker because the members sell cheaper and INGO doesn't take a percentage. In my personal opinion, this sucks for the contributing members here because those good deals really belong to INGO members first, and they deserve the first crack at them.

![]() ![]() ![]() | Selling on Gunbroker opens an item up to a national market as opposed to a local market, for example a particular gun advertised locally may find 3 people interested but when put on the nationwide market you may have 50 times that many thus driving up the bid! I also prefer buying locally with cash and a handshake but always look around for deals and comparisons. I also have noticed on GB that listing is free so it seems gun shops around the country can list they're entire inventory for free and ask a starting bid of the price they want in the first place, then any bid above opening is just more than expected, for guns that do not sell in the alotted auction time the relist is free and un limited, the gun also remains for sale at the local shop also therby exposing the gun to many potential customers. I am dizzy now and ![]()
