![]() ![]() ![]() | gun broker .com i dont mean to step on anybodys toes on this website because it is a very good place to make friends and buy and sell stuff, and just learn.but gun broker.com is for the most part over priced and what you get for your money isnt worth it.not saying you you have to look there or even buy there, but i have noticed a lot of guns on here lately that have been priced from there.i dont have a problem with trying to make a buck but when you are out to just stick it to other ingo members thats just .just my ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I can solve that. If it's over priced......don't buy it. That tends to be my rule of thumb. Just my two cents.

| INGO Bishop of Bacon ![]() | That's one of the main reasons we ask people to leave their price on their ad even after the gun sells. It gives others a chance to see what they're going for without resorting to pricing on Gunbroker.

Unfortunately, we get a lot of people who come here and treat us like a sort of low-rent Gunbroker because the members sell cheaper and INGO doesn't take a percentage. In my personal opinion, this sucks for the contributing members here because those good deals really belong to INGO members first, and they deserve the first crack at them.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Selling on Gunbroker opens an item up to a national market as opposed to a local market, for example a particular gun advertised locally may find 3 people interested but when put on the nationwide market you may have 50 times that many thus driving up the bid! I also prefer buying locally with cash and a handshake but always look around for deals and comparisons. I also have noticed on GB that listing is free so it seems gun shops around the country can list they're entire inventory for free and ask a starting bid of the price they want in the first place, then any bid above opening is just more than expected, for guns that do not sell in the alotted auction time the relist is free and un limited, the gun also remains for sale at the local shop also therby exposing the gun to many potential customers. I am dizzy now and ![]()

![]() That is a little too long to quote into a signature block but it sure is tempting! ![]() For the prices that are too high - ignore 'em. For the de-facto-flea-market-few where three or four people touch 50% of the firearms that go through the exchange... Fenway may be working on something? ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | . Fenway may be working on something? [/quote]I hope that it's not something that will effect those of us that like to trade a lot. I think the post count to use the classifieds should be raised to 50 or higher. I use the classifieds a lot but also read, learn, post in the other areas as well. ![]() |

Ninety percent of my customers are from Gunbroker so that site must be offering people some value for their money or they wouldn’t keep buying there. I can make another ten dollars on a LPK by selling on Gunbroker vs. selling locally to INGO members so why do I want to pay thirty dollars a month for that privilege? Maybe the storefront dealers sell enough to cover this cost but not us little guys. The way I see it no longer listing on the classified page INGO members will be paying more and I will be making more. As people try to explain to the members crying about high prices on Gunbroker.com or the INGO Classified Section, you don’t have to buy it if you don’t like the price. If people are abusing the INGO site by constantly reselling guns at a profit they are running a business without a business license and are not collecting IN sales tax. If they are selling guns on a regular basis they are probably also putting themselves in a precarious situation with the BATF by conducting a gun selling business without having a FFL.
