I had an order from nov 11,2008 and I kept hearing the same thing..."two to three weeks". I finally canceled the order a few weeks ago.

Just received email from Del-Ton. My 14 Jan order #29999 shipped yesterday.

What does it consist of if you don't mind...I have a rifle kit order 301xx i think and Jan 15th...but I wasn't expecting it anytime soon..

Arrived Wednesday. A couple of bolt carrier groups and misc. small parts.

Check out the Del-Ton thread under Industry section of www.ar15.com for order numbers that have recently shipped.

I ordered a complete 20" kit on Jan 1st and I am still waiting.

I was told 2 days ago by a guy who used to work for DPMS that all the major sources have government contracts and when the military puts out orders to be filled, everyone else goes on hold while they fulfill. It is in their contract with the military. With the current ramp-up for Afghanistan, that could be driving some of the delays.

Thats not bad at all honestly. I still have 14 waitting ordered from Nov 3rd. not form Delton. But either way everyplace is backed up on orders. Just how it is

I'm pretty sure. Delton doesn't have a Mil Contract. You have anything to back that up? For that matter Nor does DPMS.

I called Del-ton today to update my credit card info as it has expired
since my order Jan. 7th.

They said they are into the middle DEC. orders now. Probably about 5 wks out was the estimate I received today.

I'm in the early 29000's I think they have orders close to the 38,000's or higher now!

WHAT!!!!! i called then yesterday and they said there were filling november 21sts orders..... and the week before they told me the 20th.... in fact the last three months every time i called the days they have quoted me were sequential.... what did you order that they said they were filling decembers orders?
