Del-Ton: fell into a black hole?

Has anyone received anything from Del-Ton anytime recently?

I ordered an LPK in early January. I got an initial confirmation, but no further updates. Their website is giving the same "we're swamped" message. If they had dropped off the face of the earth, it would be pretty much the same picture.

I am considering canceling my order and looking elsewhere.

Does anyone know anything that should influence my thinking on this?

When I ordered they said it would take a couple months. I'm already in line. I'm just waiting the couple months. I don't expect Del-Ton to hold my hand and send me an email every week saying that they are diligently working. I know every AR maker is working as fast as they can. Otherwise, they are stupid, with the money to be made.

I plan on waiting patiently. After all, they haven't charged my card until it is shipping.

they ship orders in the order they were received. lately ive seen about 2.5 months from order to shipping.

I ordered a new upper for my wife on the 7th of Jan. I'm almost
1/2 way to the 12 to 16 week estimate!!

On a side note I ordered some 7.62 from Cabelas the first week of
Feb. They said back order but it would ship on the 20th of Feb.
I received another email this am with a new ESTIMATED ship date of March 20th

Rereading your original post, if it is just a LPK that you are getting, you might find those elsewhere. I imaging the parts they do get are going to full rifle kits in front of you. I ordered mine Jan 1.

Id rather they tell the correct time than to BS you like that!

It isn't quite that easy. They get an estimate from their supplier. This they give you. If the supplier changes their date, they have to change theirs.

Very few companies (other than possible Top Glock or Botach) purposefully misleads you on delivery dates. However in our low inventory, computer controlled stock level worlds, delays happen.

Boy, guess I timed it right! I ordered my upper the day after the "election" and recieved it before Christmas!!

Del-Ton called me last week about mags that were backordered and I had already purchased other. Nice folks!!
