Bidding over the buy now price???

I have a lower parts kit listed on Gunbroker and someone just bid $2 more than the buy now price which makes no sense. Had he bid the buy now price the auction would have ended and he would have won the bid, now it stays active till the time runs out as the buy button is not there anymore. Anyone have that happen to them before?

This is the third auction he has bid on and won two previous ones this past month. Both were the buy now price. Perhaps he hit the wrong key. Not sure if I should end it or see what happens, who know, he might get outbid.

SOLD so a moot issue. Made two extra dollars I didn't plan on.

I have seen this before on GB. What in the heck are people thinking when they do that?

Maybe they are sooo excited that they fail to read in has a Buy Now Price. I just trying to give the DA the benifit of the doubt.

You see the same crap on Ebay. I don't know if its a competition to them and they just have to win or they are just idiots.

I had a fella bid the buy now price. Instead of clicking the "Buy Now" button, he bid the buy now price. He threw a fit and threatened to turn me into Gunbroker if he lost the auction. I tried to explain to him that he should've just clicked on the buy now button. He still didn't get it. He won the auction anyways. But, man there are some crazies out there.
