| Plinker | +1 Gunbroker / AAGS.com (seller) Bought my first gun, an H&K USP .40 Compact on GunBroker from "AAGS.com" Price was right ($545), received just under a week later. Communication was spotty, and light... but everything eventually came through. My FFL was Clark Miller in Greenwood, he was very nice and helpful. |

![]() | I've heard there are a lot of "hot" guns on gun broker. Any one have a bad experience with them? Is there truth to this? I would think it would be hard to sell an illegal or stolen gun since it has to ship to an FFL but I don't know. |

![]() | I have not heard that. Just like anything else in life you take a chance. I have been burned a couple of times on Ebay. There is protection on that site. I had my money returned both times either by Ebay or PayPal. Unless you have dealt with the seller before, your taking a chance. My first experience with Gunbroker has been good so far. The money was received and the gun is on the way, with a tracking number. They could be shipping a box of rocks but I doubt it. So if its one post or three hundred post, your taking a chance with you hard earned money. |

![]() ![]() ![]() | I've bought and sold on Gunbroker 22 times and other than one hiccup (delivery took 6 days instead of 2 when I paid extra for 2 and the seller got his shorts in a bind when I called him on it) I've had only great experiences. I don't see how you could get a "hot" gun since any firearm that demands paper has to come to you through a dealer. Like Ebay it pays to look at your sellers rating and avoid someone that has a bad rating or hasn't sold anything before. It is legal for an individual to ship but they must ship to a dealer. To hedge my bets I don't buy unless it ships from a dealer. I'm sure there is still a way to get burned but that's the case with almost anything. IMHO there are some GREAT deals on Gunbroker and you will find that the strength of the market for many items varies greatly, IE something that is worth $400 around Indy may be worth $300 in one part of the country and $500 in another. If any of you have questions on the hows and whys on Gunbroker and want to send me a PM I'll be glad to share my experience with you. ![]()
