![]() | My thoughts on the Ban One of my heroes is James Madison--guest why. In addition to authoring the Second Amendment, he authored the first ten amendments, each of which secures one or more of our spectacular freedoms. As others have pointed out, the Second Amendment defends the rest. In light of the upcoming gun ban, I would like to ask the politicians in Washington what originally gained them the freedom and authority that they enjoy, exercise and sometimes abuse today? Here is the answer that they should never forget: 1) the direct intervention of God on the colonial's behalf in the Revolutionary War, 2) the self sacrifice of thousands of Americans, who laid their lives on the line to defend our country from the invader, and 3) the ability of private citizens to fight, armed with the best guns they could afford. Let me say it again, We The People, Armed with Private Weapons Comparable in Quality and Capacity to the Enemy Army's, with God's Help and Patriotism won the Revolutionary War, and out of this our government came into being. And they repay us with telling us we are unable to responsibly manage guns and they are going to limit our ability to use them. Does all this bring to mind the words about our government BASELY UNGRATEFUL, DISRESPECTFUL, and UNTRUSTWORTHY? So what can we do about it? Stay on our toes, call our congressmen, PRAY, and CONSIDER RUNNING FOR OFFICE. Any takers? |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I am done with telling the government and the rest of We the People what the Constitution says. The last election was the American people signing the death pact of communism. I am done with them all. I took the Galts oath several month ago. They will no longer profit from my mind or my skill. The only political action I am taking is stocking up and loading mags. The next move is theirs. ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ |

| Sharpshooter | What upcoming gun ban? It hasn't happened yet and no one here can read the future. Sure, chances look good that the AWB will come back, but we can work to prevent it. Save your breath and work to stop it instead of *****ing about something that hasn't even happened yet. |

Those that predicted this mess are now predicting worse due to the financial setup of our system that they say is harder to predict than the weather.
