Is a republican and a conservative the same thing?

What are each? Are you one of them?

Is a democrat and a liberal the same thing?

What are each? Are you one of them?

And what the heck is all this talk about libertarians?

I have long considered myself a conservative but I may have been wrong. I might be the libertarian thing.

So let's hear it!

There are conservative Democrats and Liberal Republicans. I choose to be a Libertarian as they more accurately reflect my views. Unfortunately, they don't have a chance in heck getting elected to higher office, for at least the time being. That has caused some Libertarians to switch parties to Republican to have a chance getting into office.

My liberal Democrat friends have no idea what I am talking about when I tell them I am a Libertarian. If they did, they would probably dislike me more than they dislike Republicans.

They are all for the most part liars and backstabers IMO

Oh how I know!! I was wondering what the INGO collective was/considered themselves. As far as I know that's not what we are

Sorry guess I should have read better lol

If I had to put a label myself as a Independent I usaualy vote for who ever I think is going to screw us the least !

it is time to take the consideration of which party a candidate is associated with out of the equation, imho.

listen to what they say, watch what they do, pay attention to the issues that are important to you.

i honestly can't tell the difference b/w repub's and dem's anymore.

i am a fiscal and social conservative. i believe in capitalism, small gov't, big military and the preservation of the constitution. there are too many politicians on both sides of the aisle that don't share my beliefs.

there is no longer a political party that i can associate myself with .... i want to send them all home and start over.
