  | It's time for a new party: The Constitutional Party With the run-amok dems, RINOs and impotent Libertarians as our only political choices, it is time for a new party in this state and this country. My idea is to call it the Constitutional Party. The name does a few simple things: first, it avoids all pre-existing pejorative labels such as liberal and conservative; second, it can and should appeal to Americans of all stripes who believe in the underpinnings of greatness that created this nation; third, it has a simple and never-changing platform: government as intended by our wise founders, strict and literal interpretation of the U.S. Constitution and the constitutions of the various states. We should have a strong pool of charter members from the 80 million gun owners in these United States. It is time to rescue our country and return it to true peace and prosperity. |
