Identity theft office SAG
Electronic recycling program
boxing commission to expand authority (to hockey? )

And I am sure the 12 above are not complete. That is, the article is likely deficient in listing more that go in effect today.

I wish the Federal Government would slow down so I could pay attention to what is happening in my state.

Interesting. It is murder to kill unborn babies. I thought it offended people to say that.

My guess is this one in particular is in response to the poor bank teller who lost her twins she was 5 months pregnant with a year or two ago in a bank robbery. She and her husband had been trying to get pregnant for several years, and now due to the damage from the gun shot wound, she won't be able to conceive again ever. There was quite a bit of outrage about it when it was determined that the babies weren't far enough along to charge the shooter with feticide.

I can support the law that changes the mandatory sentencing for murder. The rest is

cannon fodder.

When will the Legislature ever just kick back and have a beer for a few weeks then decide on the things they are suppose to be working on. Like the budget, defense, and undoing all these screwed up laws?

Question, how do you control law abiding citizens? Answer, you can't. So what's a governement to do? Easy, you create enough laws so that eventually everyone becomes a criminal.
