This country has lost its mind when the death of a bankrupt, child dangling, molesting, freak is remembered with a memorial service in the Staples Center when there is so many other things in the country more important then him.

Regardless, I agreed completely with Chef. Also agreed that I wouldn't want those idiots to fight along side me for anything. I would appreciate their support, but please, sit over there and shut up, or stand between me and the enemy and scream.

I would hope that those here who talk about getting people to wake up and stand up for their freedoms would take just one holiday this year to do just that. Join us for the Tea Party here in Indy or in one near you. It won't cost you a thing but some time out of your life. You don't have to be at the one here in Indy until 6pm and it stops at 9pm. Plenty of time to have your cookout, etc, and then stay for the Downtown fireworks or go home to do your own.

I really hope that instead of talking about saving our freedoms you show up and stand up and take them back with us!

My sentiments exactly. I shut off my cable tv about a year ago and have never missed it. I get all my news from the internet and listening to conservative radio. Michael Jackson couldn't concern me less. His death overshadows one of the scariest bills ever to cross the House of Representatives, and the Left-stream media doesn't bat an eye. I am of course talking about Cap & Trade, the largest tax ever proposed in the history of the world, that would affect every single American. But who cares about that when celebrity drivel makes headlines.

I agree with everyone above. This is just absolute nonesense. I am getting so annoyed and sick of all the coverage of this absolute sicko that its driving me crazy. I wish people would wake up, stop drinking the kool aid, and get a dang clue that most of these celebrities don't care about them, just making money off the people. There is no reason at all to idolize them. I wouldn't want these people fighting beside me, they can be in front of me while I use them for a human shield and they can absorb all the flying

I honestly don't really think who is president really matters. Nor does our vote. Bush, Obama, Clinton, Reagan all are the same they are puppets that are controlled by the elitist world bankers and the Federal Reserve. The people that are truly in charge are so good at hiding their involvement and controlling our belief system, we are left holding a bag in one hand and smacking our foreheads with the other. These are people that are extremely intelligent and highly educated. They look down on us the common man with about as much concern as you or I might look down upon a mouse or cockroach scuttering across the kitchen floor. To them we are commodity or nuisance. Over time they have (threw illegal immigration) effectively replaced the American workforce with a workforce that is satisfied with less. It is going to take grave and drastic measures and sacrifice to take back our country, that is if it is not already too late.

The 4th of July is independence day, a day that to me is every bit as important in its meaning as Christmas day. I for one wonder how can I in good conscience celebrate my independence when in reality I have none. I see this day as a chance at a new try for independence. I see this 4th of July as the first day in a new fight to regain our independence, not as a day to celebrate it... I wonder what day might be the new independence day and only hope and pray to God I might live long enough to see it.

More people can tell you how many yards Peyton Manning threw for or how many td catches Reggie Wayne had than could tell you who our Secretary of State is. I think that is the largest reason our local and federal politicians are involved in looting the taxpayers to pay for this crap. They know people will be distracted by the sports and not pay attention to what is really going on.

I can enjoy a good game like anyone else but I put it in perspective. I used to get on the Indy Star colts board and rip on the idiots who wanted the new Lucas Oil stadium for stealing my tax dollars for their pleasure. They don't care because they personally benefit from it. I railed on the city and the Colts for using iminent domain to steal Hurst's property. They don't care because they are getting what they want. They don't care that their pleasure comes at the cost of someone else's freedoms. These people make up the majority of our population so we are hosed.

Our politicians use sports and celebrities like the Romans used the gladiators. They distract the people while Rome is burning. I believe our country is lost and will never return. If your average so called citizen sees nothing wrong with stealing the property of someone for someone else's benefit, how can we reverse that?

You sir speak words of truth, I concur completely... How can we reverse that? Unfortunately like Rome it will probably have to burn... The next few years will be nothing more than prolonging the inevitable. Unless somehow we could get 4 or 5 million men together all in one place willing to go to any length and sacrifice anything and everything to make the change. These men would have to march on Washington D.C. and sit on it holding it in their mercy without possibility of retreat to the last man for as long as it takes...

Unfortunately this isn't going to happen, because the fact is a person will not change until the pain of remaining the same outweighs the pain of the change. The powers that be, know this as fact so therefore they will continue to pacify the general populace until its too late. To be perfectly honest they may have already succeeded... The fall of the united States will go down as the largest theft of money and property ever to occur in earths history, as the wealth of our nation continues to evaporate into thin air...
