I don't buy the "Lame Duck" thing. It seems a little too self-righteous. I hope she has a scandal coming up or something that will keep us entertained. Besides, I don't think she is the right person for the Republican Party.

Wow .... really saddened to see that some on here bought that Democratic SNL bull**** about Palin being dumb. And this from the party who gave us "Slow" Joe Biden... a truly dim bulb!!!

I hope she runs as I 'd rather put my vote behind her than a 3rd. party "trash-can" vote!!!

Just for the record, I don't believe she's dumb. I just believe that she's not the woman for the job. I like her stance on many things, but I'm not sure I want her to represent us on the world stage.

Who I will vote for depends on who runs against "The Idiot". They're all a big bag of in my book so I dunno yet. We'll see I guess.

I thought she provided a temporary spark to the McCain ticket, but in the end, I think she did gt chewed up the left wingers. No matter what you think of her, you have to admire that a mom with 5 kids made it so close to the top.

Ditto, Palin is not dumb, they said Regan was dumb too The media can make anyone look stupid by showing them at their worst moments, and ambushing them in interviews, misquoting them etc.

I think one thing that made her look bad during the campaign was that she had to stick to the idiotic Republican line. For example, she thinks global warming total B.S., but she couldn't say so while the Reps. were trying to out Democrat the Democrats.

It's easy to speak about something you believe in, not so much the other way (unless you are a sociopath). Try to give someone a heart-felt speech about why we should have strict gun control laws.

Beyond that, maybe she's not the smartest person in the world, but I don't care. We have have plenty of brilliant people that have no principles and value nothing but power and money. Obama is a pretty sharp guy, but he is a disaster for America.

True on both but I believe the biggest reason she got so badly torn-up (other than running against the slimiest, dirtiest, most ruthless and immoral group of scumbags in history), was that she held back (or was being held back) as the 2nd banana. I think that lil' firecracker (if let run free) could put up a good fight.

I have to agree here, she was definately held back. She was forced to follow McCains moderate, wishy-washy politics, and not allowed to present her political views, which are truly conservative.
