Why are we concerned so much about whothe next Prez will be when he isn't the source of the problems we are having right now?

I seem to remember it was Congress passing all the bills and even letting or not letting whatever bills THEY wanted come up for a vote. These are the people we need to change. Even a POTUS Veto can be overwritten. This is why we must reach the People. If we don't reach the ignorant, we are doomed anyway.

Note: By ignorant I don't mean stupid. There is a difference. Just clearing that up before my drunk arse gets flamed for saying that...

The President sets the agenda, IMHO. With czars and other powers, the President has plenty to work with.

True, but that's unConstitutional and really has no precident on the money they spend. They do, but not the volume like Congress. Czars and presidintial appointees don't spend billions. adn trillions.

I agree with that. The lame duck excuse really annoys me. YOU ARE THE GOVERNOR. YOU ARE A SUPPOSED TO BE A LEADER! To me, she looks like a quitter and she needs to get slammed for it.

Guess you buy the media propaganda as well. Here you have a person that wasn't even running for pres and the media treats her like she was, using the usual "personal destruction" campaign, because it works. You are proof. It didn't matter that she was successful and had more experience than the current pres. It was all about how stupid republicans are. Look at the campaign against Reagan "Ronnie Raygun", Vice Pres Dan Quayle, Bush, etc. Anyone that poses a threat has to be taken down with the "Christmas Tree Effect" so termed by a Dem in Congress. Hang enough stuff around their necks and the weight will eventually bring them down, whether it is true or not. Remember the phrase by the dem in Congress, "It isn't the truth that matters, it is the seriousness of the charges."

It doesn't matter that all 14 counts against her have been dropped; although you haven't heard that in the MSM, or that this has caused her family to go into debt for over $500K. It doesn't matter that there is no shame in doing things like this to people. It only matters what your opinion is after a successful campaign of personal destruction. It works.

I personally would like to see someone that comes from outside of Washington get a chance for a change, as opposed to someone born and raised in the stunningly corrupt atmosphere of Chicago politics, or the all in the family politicians like the Bushes or Kennedys but I do not think the political machine will let that happen, too hard to control the person that gets into office.

The sheep are amazingly easy to steer.
