I've got a question. I'm drinking, so please forgive me if this is a stuopid question.
Why are we concerned so much about whothe next Prez will be when he isn't the source of the problems we are having right now?

I seem to remember it was Congress passing all the bills and even letting or not letting whatever bills THEY wanted come up for a vote. These are the people we need to change. Even a POTUS Veto can be overwritten. This is why we must reach the People. If we don't reach the ignorant, we are doomed anyway.

Note: By ignorant I don't mean stupid. There is a difference. Just clearing that up before my drunk arse gets flamed for saying that...

The President sets the agenda, IMHO. With czars and other powers, the President has plenty to work with.

True, but that's unConstitutional and really has no precident on the money they spend. They do, but not the volume like Congress. Czars and presidintial appointees don't spend billions. adn trillions.

Congress does.

Ok. Nuff for me. Gnight. Happy Hangover.

Err. Independence Day!!!

It amazes me that so many of you choose to pick on Sarah Palin, for what reason? What don't you agree with her on? I could only tell you a few things; number one being she would be 1000 light years better than who is in office now, she was the only reason I voted for McCain as he was a wolf in sheeps clothes. She's the closest thing we have to a regular blue-collar American in power.

She's not quitting because she wants to let Alaska down. If she is going to run in 2012, she has to start spending more time down here in the lower 48. It's possible that what she believe's to be best for Alaska is to step down and start spending time down in the lower 48. One of the biggest gripes the media had (which caused all the sheep to feel the same way) was shes was just a mayor from Wassilla and then a governor from Alaska. Here's Barrack Obama, he's a senator (nobody ever said he spent more time running for offices than he spent as a senator).

If Sarah Palin truely has aspirations to run for the highest office in the land in 2012, she is doing the right thing. If nothing else makes you like her, then think of this, she goes hunting, fishing, shooting and if anything else she's probably a big, I mean BIG fan of bacon. Sorry if I just ranted along there, I dont post to much on here but am always around reading the posts; and this one just got me a little aggitated. I mean seriously just tell me what positions you don't agree with her on. As for her being a lame duck in the McCain campaign, I truley believe she wasnt allowed to be herself; she was given guidelines to follow and she followed them.

Last but not least if the 2012 election came down to Palin v Obama; I'd vote for Palin in a heartbeat.

seeing as how the average American reads on a 7th grade level and can't find Israel on a map, I think I will pass.

You know, at times it seems like those with post-graduate degrees MAKE most of our problems (MBAs ala wall street greed, and Lawyers in congress???).

If more decisions were made with common sense folks' approach, I think we COULD be better off.

Just saying.
