It was a dark & rainy 4th of July

It was bleak outside today. Reflecting the future of this country. I didn’t even fly my American Flag.
Too many things happening that point to a less moral society with little social accountability. It saddens me. I’m not talking just political concerns. Look at what is going on with the death of Michael Jackson, its shameful the attention this person is getting. And I don’t think that Obama’s socialist agenda is born out of pure hate, I believe he and the other twisted members of out government actually think they are doing the best thing for us. Ah but not always sometimes actions are just self severing, for example:

ILLEGAL ALIENS
The Conservative Right considers them Cheap Labor
The Liberal Left considers them Cheap Votes
The American Government have sold out the American People!

Why does the government feel they don’t have to represent us but instead do things for our own good? Because we as a group of people are stupid? Because they see us all as children that should never be allowed the freedom to make decisions for ourselves? Or is it simply because the majority of people have become sheep and need to be led, they follow out of a zombie like allegiance to the media?

Like I said this isn’t just about politics. It’s about what people do and why they do the things they do. Most people are not evil. But they don’t think of the true consequences of their actions. So for those people I had some cards printed up. Its just like in my signature line:

Via dolorum bonis propositis strata est. Translates to “The road of sorrow is paved with good intentions.”

Every time I hear someone defend Obama or defend abortion etc I give them a card. Maybe they will stop and think. I don’t pretend to know everything but I do know that even the best of intentions can bring about disaster. And I hope when I give out a card it will cause a moment of reflection.

Today being the dark and dreary day it was caused me to reflect and made me want to share this….

Check out the "Tea parties" that are happening. You are NOT alone in your thoughts, and it is MY firm belief that this administrations days are ALREADY numbered. They have "shot themselves in their own foot" with all the garbage they have shoved down the throats of the average American. I wouldn't be surprised to see an attempt to impeach him before the end of his term.
Our best "hope" now is, that nothing happens to him, except legally. Can you imagine "Joe the Biden" as POTUS? God help us!

No matter how gloomy life seems at times, my flag will continue to fly to remind me and others where we are supposed to be - what is important.

And it's a reminder (even tho Obama and friends can't see it) to our government officials that no matter what they do, I will always be an American in the truest sense and will continue to fight for the values that made this country great.

I'm going to differ here with your first line. There may be Republicans who look at these folk as an exploitative source of "cheap labor", but no true Conservative on the right does. There is a profound difference between the two terms anymore. I do believe a Conservative considers an "illegal alien" just that- an invader here unlawfully. They are not immigrants, because immigrants come to be Americans, to experience and immerse themselves in our American exceptionalism. Aliens by definition are interlopers and invaders, here not to integrate but to inject themselves like a virus into a healthy cell.
