They crumble something! I plan on making a trip to Atterbury unless someone knows where I can shoot my SKS 100+yrds. Only problem is I have Wed and Thur off for the next couple weeks maybe. After that I switch to Mon-Tues. FoxConn doesn't believe in weekends off like we Americans do...:do2:

I've been buying firearms for 20 some years. That includes handguns, rifles and machineguns. Once I decided to buy an Enfield .303 Brit SMLE at a gunshow here in Indiana and was put on hold.

I laughed as I was at the show with my MP5K in a leg holster and showed it to the dealer. He thought it was funny too that a guy with a NFA weapon (and the proper tax stamp) would be denied on a bolt action rifle transfer.

3 days later I got approval, but seriously. You would think the databases would be linked.

Why do I have to wait 4 months every time I buy an NFA weapon when they should easily be able to pull my record and do a quick background check for new offenses?

Ehh... what do ya do?

I'm tellin ya.... The whole system needs an overhaul. A SERIOUS overhaul. They can't keep records straight, too much red tape to share records, they do your NICS check by general description, name, and optionally SS# instead of who you really are, BATFE has too much power and no brains... We gotta do something. 80 million Americans and we can't change things? C'mon...

Wondered when you'd see this! Hey man, I figured it would take months upon months. Just hang in there. I prayed alot. Seems God didn't think an SKS and a puny Kel-Tec was enough to keep my family protected! LOL As long as you get your appeal by November I wouldn't worry. And I'd start saving up now so when that day comes you can stock up. We all may need to do just that...

Hang in there man. I thought it would kill me. Now I respect my RKBA a helluva lot more!
