   | I think Cramer is a very good scholar, and that should not be minimized. He has done a lot for scholarship on guns. He has never hidden his anti-homosexual views which are very long standing because of negative experiences, as Fletch mentioned, he had back in SF. He usually has not mixed the two and rarely mentioned them when he posted regularly on the Usenet group talk.politics.guns back in the '90's. If he's anti-open carry, I disagree with him on that, but I'm not willing to write him off for that error considering how much positive he has done.
