![]() ![]() ![]() | Side note. It says recoverable resources. It means resources that can be removed from the ground and used, with current technology. It does not consider whether they are economically recoverable right now. Say price of oil is $100/barrel now. If the cost to get a barrel out is $500/barrel, then it's not economically recoverable, and nobody will bother recovering them. And they may never be economically recoverable if say nuclear energy is always cheaper. Or some other alternative. So in general there are more factors to consider. Just a side note. |
