Unfortunately, she and I have diametrically opposite political views-she is VERY liberal and VERY pro-gun-control. When she initially discovered this apparent character flaw in me, her first question was, "When did you become such a Republican?"

Sokay, I still love her, and I'm still working on changing those views. She's finding logic to be quite frustrating, because, as a good friend of mine is often wont to say, "Facts are stubborn things."

I have to admit, though, it's kind of fun leaving her with nothing to answer but, "oh."

And yes, I held off doing that today when I called for her birthday.
