![]() ![]() | Proper sight picture I'm still relatively new to the competition shooting scene, so forgive me if this is a dumb question. When you shoot both eyes open, do you see two separate sets of sights when focusing primarily on the target? Do you have to identify which is the "proper" sight before you begin firing? I see two sets of sights, with the right set slightly lower to the left. I know to use the left set of sights, but I think I forget sometimes when the pressure is on during competition. I'm wondering if I'd benefit from taping my left glasses lens. I have a astygmatysm in both eyes, and wear corrective lenses. My left iris has scaring due to a past serious head injury and the vision is slightly impaired in this eye. I am right-handed and I believe I'm right-eye dominant. Thanks to all for the help.
