![]() | Adjusting sights I have a rock island 1911 tactical. It came with adjustible front and rear sights. I want to move the rear one, which looks like it is just held in place with a set screw and a dove tail. I loosened the set screw and tried to move the sight but wont budge. I tried tapping it with a punch and hammer. Also used a vise to hold the slide and a piece of steel so I could use a C clamp as a sight tool with no luck. Any suggestions on how to move the sight. ![]() If not any suggestions on a gun smith. |
