![]() | USPSA Multi-gun at Chesterton, Sunday, November 1st, 2009 We'd like to let interested multi-gunners kjnow that we're closing out our 2009 USPSA season with our usual multi-gun match at 9am CST, Sunday, November 1st. We'll have four solid field courses. As of this writing, two are planned to be all-3-guns, and two pistol and long gun. No slugs; birdshot only for the scatterguns. We think we'll go Open, Tactical, and Heavy Metal. Bring your Garands- our tac rifle matches are always eight-shot neutral. (Love the sound effects!) The match fee will be $20. A time zone note: Chesterton is in the Central Time Zone, like that big city up northwest of us. During the night before the match, Central Daylight Savings Time ends (actually at 2am) and we revert to Central Standard Time. Set your clocks! Registration should open by 8:30am. We set up on the Saturday before, starting around noon, or a little earlier. We welcome all help and in consideration of that help, we cut the setup folks' match fee to $10. We also plan (emphasis on plan) to have the staff shoot-through after setup on Saturday, as we do with regular USPSA pistol matches. That means that if you can get up here and pitch in for 2-4 hours, you can run through later in the afternoon. Weather can be a factor on that, I might add. After this, we look forward to the 2010 season with a classifier match on Sunday, April 4th, 2010, followed by our regular first Sunday of the month matches through November. We're just a half-mile south of the Toll Road and just east of SR49 on old Calumet Avenue, 933N. Note some GPSs and software apps think this is Valparaiso. Our website is North Porter County Conservation Club in Chesterton, Indiana |
