Will search be reenabled? This is driving me nuts as I use the active topics to view every forum I am on.

If it's such a resource hog, I was wondering if you could/would want to enable it for the people who contribute money...

Yes, it will be re-enabled on the new server. It's offline right now because we're trying to not get shut down by the current hosting provider for being a resource hog. The money is not the issue.

its a resource thing on the current host. It sounds like the server can't handle the amount of threads needed for the amount of searches....if I'm using the corect terminology. Tomorrow should be a better day!

Provided Scutter and Fen don't get too tipsy on the import brews lol

I realize it's not a money issue. I'm just saying that if it's such a resource issue then only let people who have contributed to the website, access to it. That's all.

Thanks for the idea Spasmo. Hopefully this will no longer be an issue on the new server. Registered members will always be able to use the search function.
